Jupiter...


Be sure and take a look at Jupiter this week! We're as close as we get and you can see lots of detail if your skies are steady. Don't worry about light pollution, it won't bother your view!

Did you know that Jupiter has almost the same composition as the sun? It's mostly hydrogen. If Jupiter was a little bigger, it would have enough mass to ignite the nuclear reaction that makes the sun burn. We'd have two suns!  It's warm enough for me the way things are...
